At the northern end of Ft. Lauderdale you'll find the quaint village of Lauderdale-by-the Sea. Known for having more people walking than cars driving on its side streets this area has become a Mecca for those visitors seeking a family-friendly yet sophisticated alternative to the hustle-bustle of the Ft. Lauderdale "strip".

Offering travelers a decidedly boutique ambiance, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea has developed an impressive array of supporting infrastructure which caters to the needs of its residents as well as its visitors. For your convenience we have listed, in no particular order, the telephone numbers and addresses of many of these local businesses and services on the left side of this page.

Be sure to stop by any of the numerous places, all within a short walking distance from the Inn, where you can purchase groceries to fill your refrigerator and satisfy your appetite for those late night moments.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

(our street address is 4546 El Mar Drive, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea)

All roads lead to the New Little Inn by the Sea, or so it might seem. The following directions will help guide you right to our doorstep:

From the Airport - if you've picked up a rental car from Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport it will take only 3 turns to reach us. Get on to Federal Highway (also known as US 1) heading north (turn #1). Travel around 7 miles until you reach the major intersection with  Commercial Boulevard - take a right heading east (turn #2). Follow Commercial Boulevard for about 2 miles until it ends at the beach and turn left on El Mar Drive (turn #3) for about 1/4 mile and you will see the Inn on the right side.

From the Florida Turnpike or Interstate 95 - this will require only 2 turns - take the Commercial Boulevard exit heading east (turn #1) until it ends at the beach and turn left on El Mar Drive (turn #2) for about 1/4 mile and you will see the Inn on the right side.
